For over 30 years, the Saint Louis Women’s Chorale has paired uncompromising musical excellence with bold innovation. Each signature concert features a regional premiere, illuminating little‑known stories through trail‑blazing works by women composers and poets.

As a 40‑voice auditioned ensemble, the Chorale unites diverse singers through the restorative power of song. And rooted in the classical tradition yet fluent across genres, the group weaves jazz, folk, Broadway, blues, gospel, and more into stunning multimedia productions created with professional dancers, painters, poets, and instrumentalists.

As Ensemble‑in‑Residence at Maryville University, the Chorale offers emerging women musicians mentoring, leadership, and performaning opportunities. Above all, it affirms the worth and dignity of all people, harnessing the power of music and exceptional performances to enrich communities and transform lives.

Principal Artist Awards
The Chorale ardently supports women pursuing careers in music. We achieve our goals, in part, by offering paid positions in the form of Principal Artist Awards. Our Principal Artists have opportunities to perform solos with the Chorale and function as our Section Leaders.
