Have you ever walked a horse on a dusty trail, the sunset in front of you, belting out a lusty song? Like they do in the movies? The picture of grace and western romance? Well I have. And it's not all its cracked up to be!  Several years ago my husband, Will, and I were in Colorado and we scheduled an afternoon of horseback riding with a local company.

As it turned out, we were the only ones scheduled that day and got to spend a delightful afternoon exploring the woods with our very own personal and personable cowboy guide. At one point the subject of music came up in conversation and Will and I mentioned that we enjoyed singing together. Our guide asked us to.. no, INSISTED,  that we sing him a song right there on the trail. Will and I got all ready to show off our voices with a quaint country duet we knew well. Instead of our polished voices shining flawlessly together, out came barely controlled phrases that bumped and wiggled in perfect harmony with only the clopity-clop of our horses hooved steps. Turns out, its not easy to sing (especially in tandem) when you are being jostled about in a hard, unforgiving saddle! We were good sports, however, and powered through our rocky debut. Can I now consider myself a bonified crooning cowgirl? I think so. At least I got to ride off into the sunset...

Certified Health Coach

The practice of Health Coaching is a relatively new field created to help individuals to move toward wellness.  With a significant rise in many serious diseases, and the reduction of time physicians have with their patients, a coach can help bridge that gap and guide their client through small steps to big changes.

As an RN and Certified Health Coach.  I am available to do a 30-minute free consult to clarify your health goals and explore if this would be beneficial for you.  Feel free to reach out to me.
