Through luminous music and large-scale projected imagery, audiences are surrounded by landscapes, water, light, motion, and sky. The result is a concert that feels both expansive and deeply grounding. Works by Ola Gjeilo, Kim André Arnesen, Elaine Hagenberg, Sarah Quartel and others pair rich choral textures with cinematic visual design, creating a sense of wonder and spaciousness. The program also features the regional premiere of Patrick Carrabré’s Teachings of the Water, a work rooted in Indigenous wisdom that honors water as a life-giving force and a source of connection. This concert is not about escaping into nature. It is about remembering that we are part of it. In a world that often feels fast, fractured, and unmoored, Beneath the Same Sky offers an experience of beauty, reflection, and renewal.
