About the event

After the fierce self-discovery of Untamed, Season 32 turns outward, toward the earth beneath us, the sky above us, and the living systems that connect us all. Beneath the Same Sky is an immersive choral experience celebrating the beauty, power, and wisdom of the natural world. Through luminous music and large-scale projected imagery, audiences are surrounded by landscapes, water, light, motion, and sky. The result is a concert that feels both expansive and deeply grounding. Works by Ola Gjeilo, Kim André Arnesen, Elaine Hagenberg, Sarah Quartel and others pair rich choral textures with cinematic visual design, creating a sense of wonder and spaciousness. The program also features the regional premiere of Patrick Carrabré’s Teachings of the Water, a work rooted in Indigenous wisdom that honors water as a life-giving force and a source of connection. This concert is not about escaping into nature. It is about remembering that we are part of it. In a world that often feels fast, fractured, and unmoored, Beneath the Same Sky offers an experience of beauty, reflection, and renewal.
