Here I Am

Join us in our first signature concert of the season featuring the multimedia regional premiere of Jocelyn Hagen’s Here I Am - a spellbinding salute to 47 trail-blazing women. Created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, our stage will come alive with visionaries, healers, warriors, and inventors who have shaped history. Music and lyrics intertwine with newly commissioned portraits by seven female artists, flooding the stage with vivid images of their courage and creativity.

Joyfully collaborating with: Webster University Orchestra, conducted by Paul Davis, Webster University Chamber Singers and Chorale, conducted by Trent Patterson, Leann Schuering, soprano soloist, composer Jocelyn Hagen, Resilience Dance Company (interactive dance as you enter the lobby), and League of Women Voters (voter registration table available during the event).
